is applied to customer specific applications, providing Dontech

designs and product options. Dontech’s diverse technical
staff of engineers and scientists allows Dontech to work with

Dontech’s dynamic product line of optical
filters, enhancements and assembly services is supported by fabrication
experience and capability with an extensive range of optical substrates,
colors, in house thin and thick film coatings, optical laminations,
and ancillary products. This depth allows Dontech to meet even
the most demanding customer application requirements. Electronic
display enhancements are typically governed by three primary application
requirements:
• Optical Performance Improvement – (e.g., increased brightness, contrast enhancement, reduced glare,
better viewing angles, night vision compatibility)
• EMI/RFI Shielding – Susceptibility
or radiated emissions compliance for military (e.g., MIL-STD-461,
MIL-STD-464), FCC, Secure communication (e.g., Tempest), ISO and
VDE requirements.
• Environmental – Suitable durability
for high or low temperature extremes (e.g., -65ºC to +85ºC)
is integrated into construction of the product. Ruggedness ranging
from the military requirements (e.g., MIL-STD-810 sand, dust,
salt, water, chemical resistance, humidity, impact, shock and
vibration) to the commercial abrasion, chemical, and cleaning
requirements, are also addressed.

of design, manufacturing, and test equipment with methods and
procedures in place to ensure product compliance and verification
of designs. Dontech application engineers can recommend the most
suitable optical filter or display enchancement design to meet
virtually any display or optical assembly enhancement application.
